The Oakwood Village Prehab Program was created for individuals considering elective surgery who want to plan for their post-surgery rehab as well. We’ll help take the mystery out of the rehabilitation process and make your recovery after surgery easier by helping you to plan ahead. A Prehab is offered on the first Thursday of each month alternating between the University Woods and Prairie Ridge Campus. Call (608) 230-4646 to RSVP or Click here for more information.

For over 65 years, Oakwood Lutheran Senior Ministries has been serving generations of aging adults, encouraging individuality, worth and well-being throughout life. Legendary Living will be a very special evening intended to recognize and honor Oakwoods contributions to older adults and to pay tribute to older adults who continue to positively impact our world.
We are pleased to welcome Jack Salzwedel, chairman and chief executive officer of American Family Insurance as the evenings featured guest speaker. Mr. Salzwedel is a native of DeForest, Wisconsin, and has served at American Family for over 30 years. He is a former Oakwood board member, and currently serves on the board of directors of American Family Mutual Insurance Company, the Property and Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI), the Insurance Information Institute, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and United Way of Dane County. He is co-chairman of the board at the American Family Children's Hospital and a member of the Board of Regents at Wartburg College.
