    Guiding Our Parents

We all want what’s best for our parents.  Above all, we want them to be safe, secure and happy. But what happens when our definition of a safe and secure environment doesn’t match their definition?

Join Wisconsin author and real estate agent Bruce Nemovitz and members of the Oakwood Lutheran Senior Ministries staff for a seminar to help understand the options available to your family at local retirement communities, and how to help your parents see there is a better, more enjoyable life beyond their current living arrangement. Whether you are facing an immediate move for your parents, or have the luxury of time, you’ll come away with useful information.

    Prehab Program

The Oakwood Village Prehab Program was created for individuals considering elective surgery who want to plan for their post-surgery rehab as well.  We’ll help take the mystery out of the rehabilitation process and make your recovery after surgery easier by helping you to plan ahead. A Prehab session is offered on the first Thursday of each month alternating between the University Woods and Prairie Ridge Campus.
