Thank you for all the excellent care and support Oakwood Village East has provided for my parents, me and my family this year. My Dad passed away at the HRC a few days ago. My parents came to Oakwood about 18 months ago from Michigan where they had lived most of their lives. My Dad was first at the HRC, then at Seasons with my Mom, and then as he continued to decline, back at the HRC for the last nine months or so. Through all this he has not only received excellent care, but so many kindnesses from your staff. In his final days and hours, he was at peace and I felt very fortunate to have been with him at Oakwood when he passed. The staff at Seasons has been wonderful with my Mom, helping her (and me) begin to come to terms with his passing.

I have asked family and friends who would like to make a memorial contribution in my father’s memory to do so to the Oakwood Foundation. I am enclosing our own contribution, along with a separate contribution for the staff appreciation fund. We feel very privileged to be a part of the Oakwood community.
