Oakwood Meadows

Oakwood Meadows at Oakwood Village East offers a unique level of residential care for older adults in needing a higher level of individual attention and significant assisstance with daily activities.

 

Oakwood Meadows is a 20 bed licensed community based residential facility (CBRF) with keypad-secured entry doors for the safety of residents with some dementia. There is a comfortable dining room on the floor and an outdoor garden space with fenced in patio.

Oakwood Meadows serves residents of Oakwood Village and the Madison community by filling a gap in the continuum of care. Increasingly, individuals with advanced custodial needs have had to move to nursing homes. They are often ineligible for "traditional" assisted living facilities because the programs may not offer enough assistance with residents' actvities of daily living. The Oakwood Meadows program provides the most independent environment possible for those in need of significant care, promoting socialization as well as meeting specific physical needs.
