The Resale Shop
You never know what treasures you’ll find at the Oakwood Resale Shop. All sale items are donated, with proceeds going to the Continuing Care Endowment Fund, or CCEF. The CCEF assists Oakwood residents who, through no fault of their own, can no longer afford to pay for their care at Oakwood. A group of about 40 volunteers wash, mend, polish, repair, research and display thousands of items for each sale. Proceeds from our sales are approximately $60,000 annually.
Store Selections
The resale shop offers an assortment of furniture, house ware, decorations and more.
Donate
We accept donations of nearly everything (see below for exceptions). Donations can be dropped off any Tuesday or Thursday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 at the Resale Shop
We DO NOT accept
- Televisions more than 3 years old
- Large appliances
- Exercise equipment
- Large office desks
- Typewriters and computer components (CPUs, scanners, printers, keyboards, monitors)
- Encyclopedias
- Car seats and cribs
- Full size sofa beds
- Mattresses or bed frames
- Clothing
- Items that are broken, torn or excessively soiled

Sales are the last Saturday of the month, March through October. Open 9:00-3:00.
