Assisted Living
For residents in need of hands-on assistance in their daily lives, Oakwood Village provides an Assisted Living option that blends personal care, privacy, community, and an opportunity to build new friendships. Our programs offer a high staff-to-resident ratio and enable residents to retain their independence while they enjoy their lives in a setting of support, fun, camaraderie, and understanding.
Assisted Living Services & Amenities
- 24-hour staff availability
- Basic health monitoring and emergency response (including routine vitals, weights , blood glucose monitoring, catheter care, wound care, labs, X-rays, management of chronic medical conditions, acute change of condition)
- Individualized care plan
- Assistance with bathing or showering, whirlpool, if desired
- Three nutritious meals a day, as well as snacks
- Assistance with getting dressed, personal grooming and restroom use, as needed (one-person assistance)
- Medication management and administration
- Light daily housekeeping service in resident suites, weekly for deep cleaning by housekeeping staff
- Life Enrichment programming
- Up to three hours of skilled nursing care per week
- Utilities (except telephone)
- Expanded basic cable
- Wireless internet access
- Onsite social worker
- Personal laundry service
- Linen service
- Personal toiletries provided, if needed
- Call light in room and bathroom with option for a Personal Emergency Response (PERS) pendant at additional cost
- Spiritual Care programming, including regularly scheduled ecumenical worship services
