Support Oakwood Village
The Oakwood Foundation provides an opportunity for those who value Oakwood to support our ministry and to strengthen our organization for the future. With your help, we can ensure Oakwood remains able to provide compassionate care to those in need, innovative programming to transform the way we age, and financial support for those in the Oakwood community who need it most.
The Oakwood Foundation
Established in 1981, the Oakwood Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit public charity, and serves as the official fundraising and gift-receiving organization for Oakwood Lutheran Senior Ministries (EIN 39-1398037).
The focus of the Oakwood Foundation is supporting Oakwood’s two campuses, those we serve, and those who provide service. Your gifts benefit Oakwood residents, enhancing their lives in ways that would not have otherwise been possible through Oakwood’s operating budget. We invite you to identify an aspect of the Oakwood community you are passionate about supporting, or make a gift towards an area of focus:
Give to the Oakwood Mission Support Fund and provide Oakwood with the financial strength and flexibility to support the organization in ways that meet the greatest need.
Contribute to the Continuing Care Endowment Fund, which helps support Oakwood’s efforts to provide care and services to residents who have outlived their resources through no fault of their own.
Support Staff Training, Retention and Recognition Efforts. People define Oakwood’s success and our ability to serve with compassion. Help provide access to additional resources to help Oakwood invest in people.
Why Gifts Matter
As a faith-based not-for-profit retirement community, resident fees go towards covering the cost of ongoing operations. Gifts to the Oakwood Foundation allow our organization to provide a “margin of excellence” we would not otherwise be able to fund through resident fees.
Whether its providing additional staff training to enhance the skills and knowledge base of our workforce, pursuing compelling new technology or programs in order to improve the delivery of care and services to older adults, or enhancing a community space on one of our campuses, your gifts make a difference at Oakwood each and every day.
