Our Organization

For 75 years, Oakwood Lutheran Senior Ministries has helped older adults lead lives of growth, happiness, health, and security. Our boards of directors consist of corporate executives, pastors and community leaders from the Madison area. Our profits are reinvested back into the organization to ensure that we continually enhance our programs and services to best serve residents who call Oakwood home.

The Oakwood Foundation

The Oakwood Foundation raises funds in order to support Oakwood’s two campuses, those we serve, and those who provide service. Your gifts to the Oakwood Foundation benefit Oakwood residents and employees, enhancing their lives in ways that would not have otherwise been possible through Oakwood’s operating budget.

Sponsoring Congregations

Oakwood Lutheran Senior Ministries – formerly Oakwood Lutheran Homes Association – was established in 1948 by an association of Lutheran churches who believed Madison could – and should – offer quality care and services to older adults.

We are grateful for the continued support of our sponsoring congregations.
